The I Due Art 4 You Museum, Chicago Women’s Caucus for Art and The World Can’t Wait proudly presents the film HELEN'S WAR on Sunday March 30, 2008 at 3:30pm.

First in our Women Empowered series , Helen’s War is a remarkable film about Dr. Helen Caldicott, the Austrian anti-nuclear activist, celebrated author and Nobel Peace Prize nominee. A campaigner against nuclear proliferation for over thirty years, Dr Caldicott has fought furiously against nuclear armaments throughout the world. After 9/11, she was, ”…certain that the White House War of Terror was escalating the global nuclear arms race”. This exciting video examines the Bush administration; post 9/11 American society and the issue of nuclear armaments.

Also featured in the movie are Noam Chomsky, Martin Sheen, George W. Bush, Lily Tomlin, and a host of others. This is an incredible film about remarkable women, a hero of our times. Discussion will follow the movie. The World Can’t Wait and The I Due Art Gift Shop will have special political items for sale. Pick a Cup Coffee will have a wonderful selection of coffee, sandwiches and desserts for sale. Do join us for an incredible evening of politics, food and thought.
