The New Open Acrylics
The new "open" acrylics, with their extended "wet" open times are amazing paints for a variety of effects- from beautiful soft glazes over grissailles for a traditional painting, to immediate plein air techniques, sgraffitto and monoprinting. The Painterly Print: Digital Grounds for Fine Artists, and Photographers
Using our new digital grounds, we can print images from our computer's printer on any of a variety of surfaces: paint skins, gels, acetate, metallic papers. . .These are wonderful techniques for mixed media artists,creating layers- or for limited edition multiples- and at reprographics we will see large scale prints (giclees) on linen using our products and their printers. Printing on transparent surfaces is also wonderful for artist cards and ornaments. Supplies provided by Golden Paints, bring your own photocopied images.
