St. Louis will be hosting the summer board meeting. In conjunction with it we are planning a Midwest one day Art and Social Justice Conference which will include a national juried exhibition on Friday July 22, 2011.
The conference could be a great resume building, networking, strengthening WCA opportunity for you. Most of the organizational work is being done in St. Louis by local members. We would like your help. We are forming committees. Currently there are two committees where tasks can be completed from a distance.
Committees (so far):
1) Marketing and PR throughout Midwest region
2) Award ceremony -small ceremony where one member from each Midwest chapter will be honored for service in an area of "Art and Social Justice"
